BUILD RESILIENCE • STRENGTHEN SKIN • SUPPORT THE MICROBIOME
Honeybeam is a multipurpose, propolis-infused castor* oil treatment nectar formulated to strengthen the skin’s resilience, soften areas of visible stress, and protect skin in transition.
Collected by bees to strengthen their hive, Propolis has been treasured for eons in traditional topical wound-care around the world from the Incas, Mayans, Egyptians and so many others of course, with one of the first medically documented uses noted by Hippocrates in 400 BCE. In our treatment nectar, it offers occlusive barrier support as a nutrient-dense, protective cocoon— the golden heart of the formula. These golden drops penetrate deeply, adding a rich cushion that seals in moisture, enhances drainage & builds a protective foundation. Honeybeam is luminous, restructuring drops of gold.
**Our Castor oil is Organic, cold-pressed & hexane free.
Work with Honeybeam on scars or to break-up adhesions and reinstate the skin’s healthy barrier, on lymph pathways along the collarbone and neck, on the belly to aid in regulation & detoxification and on eyebrows lashes for supporting growth & thickness.
The belly and navel is a special spot for digesting more than our food; It is our container for digesting information, processing emotion, and is where our personal energy is gathered, stored and distributed from. If the belly is often the place we want to address and release the internal, physical pressure like bloating and gas, how does regular massage encourage the release of emotional pressure too? Just like massage in this particular area supports the elimination of waste and unneeded material, working in this way has the ability to remove unneeded data blockages too.
Aromatic Profile— Gentle resin, warmth of the sun, beeswax adjascent, breeze of calendula pollen, late-summer tree sap, amber.
Energetic Profile— The flower essences chosen are for cradling self in a protective cocoon, supporting the movement and acceptance of life events, strengthening autonomy, flexibility with challenges, integrating and releasing grief, confidence in decisions around the body and health, giving presence to life.
* Like all Wildcare products, this product is free of essential oils. *
The Formula:
While Propolis is the main hero of Honeybeam, let’s explore the powerful players behind the scenes and why we chose them for Honeybeam.
Birch Buds and Leaves - I am especially akin to buds here as concentrated bursts of vitality where the plant is storing all of its future energy. Because of this, they are a wonderful support for skin that is calling in fortification over “fixing”. Buds are rich in flavonoids and phenolic compounds that encourage a healthy turnover cycle, especially where stress or congestion is seen. The leaves are mildly astringent and supportive in micro-circulation, balance and tone— especially helpful for scar care where fascia & skin barrier could use a little movement, clarifying and brightening.
Calendula Flowers - A soothing and cooling presence, Calendula brings gentle lymph flow and tissue healing to our formula, acting like a gentle poultice to skin in transition. Saponins present in the flower calm redness and irritation, refine harsh texture for more smoothness, and help maintain flexibility and calm. When tissue is soothed and cooled in this way, disruption minimizes and we can call in the nourishment of the flavonoids and antioxidants, specifically carotenoids, to feed the skin, call the radiance of the sun back in and restore harmony both physically and emotionally.
Sunflower Lecithin - This is a quiet, yet important background ingredient in Honeybeam. It is phospholipid-rich, (our skin naturally produces phospholipid on its own!), creating a barrier-mimicking ingredient that helps to hold our formula closer to the skin for deeper and more effective absorption. It reinforces the structure of the skin, improves the texture where skin may feel thickened or tightened from scars, and improves the stability of the formula.
Modalities:
Lymph flow & de-puffing : Rubs hands together to create warmth through friction. Work in slow, downward pulsing swoops as you start at the collarbone and move up the neck to the ears. Especially supportive to massage neck/lymph when the body feels under the weather or a tickle in the throat.
Scar Support : Begin gently when emotional readiness is felt. Massage into healed scar, gently into the fascia to create cross-fiber friction (side-to-side along the scar) to break up adhesions and increase blood flow. Think about movements like a compass- North to South, and East to West. You do not need to be rough or go deep to create movement. Scar support is just as much an emotional process as it is a physical. Go lightly at your preferred pace. Notice what comes to mind, notice what to release. Our scars are portals to our inner world; Tend with care.
Belly : Rub hands together to create warmth through friction. Massage (clockwise) in a circular flow around the belly button, aiming for 5-10 minutes. If desired, follow by placing a cotton cloth on top with a heat pack for about 20 minutes. Castor oil has been traditionally worked with for supporting detoxification pathways, digestive regulation and lymphatic drainage. The belly and navel is a special spot for digesting more than our food; It is our container for digesting information, processing emotion, and is where our personal energy is gathered, stored and distributed from. Just like massage in this particular area supports the elimination of waste and unneeded material, working in this way has the ability to remove unneeded emotional data blockages too.
Eyebrows, lashes : Apply our treatment nectar with fingertips or a clean, cotton swab to eyebrows and lashes. Common timelines for noticing growth and increased thickness with topical castor oil methods is about 6-8 weeks of regular use. Please avoid contact with eyes.
Eczema care : Layer on top of our Rosemary Bay Hydrosol for occlusive barrier support & wonderful mending. Results work best at applying 2-3x a day for at least 5-7 days.
Packaged in 1.7oz Miron, Violet Glass with a pump top.
We always recommend a patch test on the inside of your arm upon 1st use to check for compatibility.
Do not use if you have any allergies to bees or bee products.
Please note -
Because of the high cost of these very precious oils and extracts, in addition to the intensive formulation process and personal nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns of opened/unopened bottles. We are a small-batch company that takes great pride and care in the creation and packaging of each bottle, making sure you receive an item of superior quality and efficacy. Thank you.

Energetic and Aromatic Profile—
Formulated to center and ground. Aroma is evocative of earthy amaranth, spicy turmeric root and warm undertones of Bulgarian rose petals & Rose hips.
Highlights—
Organic Artichoke Leaf - A truly powerful plant- beyond its mighty stature. Artichoke Leaf is high in a phytochemical called cynaropicrin, which has been shown to be anti-photoaging (reducing sun damage and pigmentation), making perfect sense as these massive leaves are resilient, staying protected in the sun without being scorched. This powerful component is also known to stimulate the regeneration of cells and inhibit UV irradiation (damage from excess sun exposure) in addition to rapidly building collagen, strengthening areas that have lost elasticity and restoring moisture in areas of imbalance and inflammation. We infuse the leaf into Organic Jojoba Oil that we source directly from one of the few remaining Organic Jojoba farmer’s in the US - all cold-pressed by hand. The difference in quality, color, scent and efficacy we have from purchasing straight from the farmer is supreme. Ideal for mature skin.
Organic Turmeric - Spicy & vibrant, a top pick for fighting inflammation. It has been shown to be a skin brightener- fading the appearance of scars and inflammatory flare-ups.
Organic Amaranth Seed - Remarkably helpful in supporting those with maturing and/or imbalanced skin. High in Linoleic Acid, meaning it is part of the Omega family that aids in wound healing, cell regeneration, and is highly repairative. It is also a great choice for maintaining elasticity & smoothing deep scars or wrinkles.
Organic Sea Buckthorn -High in Antioxidants, Vitamins A, C, & E, containing the entire family of Omegas. One drop carries 190 different bioactive compounds. Aids in healing and regenerating tissue that has been scarred, burned, or wounded. Extremely supportive to dry skin that experiences inflammation such as eczema, acne & dermatitis. May act as a natural sun barrier for minimal exposure.
Directions—
Warm ~5 drops onto clean fingertips and gently massage clean, damp skin that has been generously misted by a hydrosol of choice. Finish by misting your hydrosol once more to lock in moisture, further creating a protective shield for your skin. Smile.
SunRoot + Hydrosol—
Facial oils have been used for centuries to hydrate and bring vitality to the skin. Because the skin is made up of water in the form of sweat and oil aka sebum, utilizing a hydrosol and a facial serum or oil together aids in establishing the skin’s inherent rhythm. Essentially, you’re creating your own fresh moisturizer without the fillers and preservatives of a common face cream. When layered in your ritual, the Hydrosol carries in the moisture from your oil, while SunRoot helps to hold the hydrosol waters close to the skin. This means that those pH balancing plant acids, healing nutrients and potent antioxidants found in both are able to penetrate more efficiently leading to dewy, healthy skin that is properly hydrated and moisturized.

Northwest Local Maple-blossom Honey—Our local honey is sourced from our exciting visit this year to the Oregon Maple Festival (Thanks to Oregon Maple Project for pointing us that direction!). Raw honey brings in sublime gel-like texture & is rich with antioxidants and enzymes that assist the skin in plumping and moisturizing. It’s also our top choice for balancing the skin’s microbiome. Skin is more inclined to stay clear & protected when honey is present as it’s reparative, keeps skin clean and soothes skin that leans on either side of the spectrum, whether you experience one week of acne or the next week of dehydration. To me, this makes honey feel like natures great adaptogen. This balm is not for a specific 'skin type'— it is a product for ALL skin.

THE STORY—
Red Movement Go Balm is an exciting new iteration of our coveted Anywhere Oil and is suitable for lips, face and body. Its smaller size makes it very handy to have a luxurious solid oil on-the-go. Our new balm stick is a grounding, ruby-hued, all-over salve formulated to moisturize skin, stabilize the emotional body and encourage circulation along lymph pathways. The base of this push-balm is our beautiful Red Movement Oil with the addition of moisturizing mango butter and a touch of Pacific Northwest beeswax.
Flower essences of Ocotillo & SunRose along with infusions of sparkling red rooibos, lymph-loving red clover flower & smokey vanilla bean blend with almond-like plum kernel oil for an ambrosial scent. Red Movement reminds us to tap back into our body, transform stagnation and connect in, with pleasure.
Purpose— Encourages transformation, increases moisture & provides protection against the elements. This can be applied on lips, face & body. Its smaller size makes it very handy to have a luxurious solid oil on-the-go.
Energetic & Aromatic profile— Formulated with two flower essences, Ocotillo and Sun Rose, in the spirit of connection, intimacy and courage. Its scent is almond-like, with notes of fresh berries and deep, dark earth.
Highlights—
St. Johns Wort (Hypericum perforatum)— A soothing and restorative oil, traditionally used for nerve pain, bruising, sprains and achey muscles. To impart the red colored plant constituents, this oil has to be made using gentle, hand-picked flowers of the plant, an extremely laborious process. It also is only harvested once per year, right at the start of Summer solstice. St. Johns has also shown great improvement when the oil is worked with on the scalp for irritation, dandruff & psoriasis thanks to its anti-fungal & anti-inflammatory properties.
Red Clover (Trifolium Pratense)— The first plant memory I have - sucking the sweet honeyed nectar from each tiny purple petal as a young girl. Red clover is a humble and common plant found amongst most lawns and parks. It is an unassuming, powerful rebuilder and lymphatic with a focus on movement and clearing lymph pathways. Topically it has been used to nourish conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis, soften, and clear— making it a wonderful ally for skin, scalp & hair.
Ocotillo flower essence— Made by herbalist & ethnobotanist, Ash Ritter. Here is a poem written by Ash on Ocotillo’s energetics ; “ Waxy body, thorned surface. Repelling by hard spike., by softly rolling bead of dew. Attracting by scarlet blossoms, by levity, by mating-season & hummingbird nectar. With the waters, limey-green leaves flourish, as our lymph cascades downward. Sacral flow…be moved, be discerning, be safeguarded by the firm and the gentle.”
Note: It does NOT leave any red-cast on skin - it smoothes on clear.

The Story—
This mask was created in our California garden, way back when we opened Wildcare in 2015, with a formula that’s spanned over a decade for good reason. In our quiet coastal town, we grew a vast array of flowers like roses, hibiscus & yarrow nestled amongst trailing passionflower vines and towering cacti. Bees led us flower to flower and we followed suit. Bee Rosy Mask is a meditation on the color pink; Blushing fruits and flowers support the skin in replenishing lost moisture, balancing skin that toggles too dry or too oily, and supports elasticity & collagen production. A sensorial blend of California grown Organic strawberries, freshly ground pink petals and local Bee pollen feed the skin essential vitamins to renew its healthy, rosy glow.
Purpose—
Harmonizes with mature skin and/or skin that toggles between dry and oily. Its main characteristics are for expressing vibrancy, collagen building, barrier repair, evening tone, strengthening tissue and bringing more balanced moisture back to the skin.
Highlights—
This mask is Essential Oil free for sensitive skin types.
Local Bee Pollen: Bee Pollen contains almost all nutrients required by the human body! Being enormously high in protein, bee pollen nourishes the skin by assisting in healing skin in transition, diminishing wrinkles, and helping to reduce acne.
Organic Rose Petals: Rose petals help to bind moisture to the skin, soothe over-exfoliated or sensitized skin and balances oil production while still keeping the skin soothed and comfortable. Polysaccharides help to support barrier function which helps to improve hydration and lessen irritation and inflammation.
Organic Fruits: Strawberry, Rose Hip and Hibiscus offer AHAs- gentle, yet effective fruit acids that support the skin to speed cellular turnover, brightens dull skin and supports elasticity and firmness— especially helpful for mature skin. Anthocyanins in particular supports collagen integrity and improves resilience, .
Best Use—
Spoon 1-2T into a small bowl and combine with your Wildcare Hydrosol of choice, honey or simply pure water. Honey is our favorite choice to prevent clay from being over-drying. Once your mask has reached its desired consistency, smooth on skin, relax for 15-20 minutes, keeping it moist with a hydrosol or a damp cloth, then gently rinse with warm water. **Leaving clay masks on to dry can occasional be supportive for certain skin expressions, but more commonly will lead to dehydrated and itchy skin. Keep your mask moist for purified, hydrated skin! Follow by generously misting a Hydrosol, massaging a few drops of SunRoot Solar Serum into skin, and lastly a final mist of Hydrosol to lock in moisture.

The color.
This color is thanks to a beautiful flower native to Southeastern Asia, called Buttlerfly Pea. It is quite high in antioxidants— specifically the anthocyanin content (the same antioxidants found in blueberries) is what produces this lovely hue and offers wonderful benefits. It has been studied and shown to improve skin health by lowering inflammation and redness, remedying sun damage, and has lessened visible signs of aging. This flower is ground up into a powder and is quite common these days found in specialty drinks and foods for its healing properties & vivid color story. To witness some fascinating chemistry, depending on the pH levels of your water, this flower can transform it anywhere from a rich blue to a deep purple.
More on Magnesium.
Magnesium is an essential mineral of the human body, positively affecting our blood vessels, heart, nervous system & beyond. It is vital to have a consistent influx whether through our foods foods or (topical/internal) supplementation as it’s responsible for many cellular functions including energy production & proper cellular structural health. When the body is low, it can even begin to pull from our bone’s own supply. Taking bath’s with Magnesium, whether it’s a foot bath or full body bath, allows the Magnesium to be absorbed through the skin and circulated through the blood stream & in turn used by our cells for a wide variety of necessary functions.

Organic Sea Buckthorn - High in Antioxidants, Vitamins A, C, & E, containing the entire family of Omegas.

Red Movement Anywhere Oil
Red Movement Go Balm.
Red Movement is a grounding, ruby-hued, all-over formula to soften skin, stabilize the emotional body and encourage circulation along lymph pathways. Oregon-grown St. John’s flowering tops and rich buriti oils offer the sensual, juicy groundwork to soothe inflamed skin and inspire movement during massage. Flower essences of Ocotillo & SunRose along with infusions of sparkling red rooibos, lymph-loving red clover flower & smokey vanilla bean blend with almond-like plum kernel oil for an ambrosial scent. Until every last drop, Red Movement reminds us to tap back into our body, transform stagnation and connect in, with pleasure.
Energetic & Aromatic profile - Formulated with two flower essences, Ocotillo and Sun Rose, in the spirit of connection, intimacy and courage. Its scent is almond-like, with notes of fresh berries and deep, dark earth.
Highlights:
St. Johns Wort (Hypericum perforatum)- A soothing and restorative oil, traditionally used for nerve pain, bruising, sprains and achey muscles. To impart the red colored plant constituents, this oil has to be made using gentle, hand-picked flowers of the plant, an extremely laborious process. IFor context of why this oil goes for a higher value, a gallon of St. John’s Oil from a reputable farm will go for over $300/gallon. It also is only able to be harvested once per year, right at the start of Summer solstice. St. Johns has also shown great improvement when the oil is worked with on the scalp for irritation, dandruff & psoriasis thanks to its anti-fungal & anti-inflammatory properties.
Red Clover (Trifolium Pratense)- The first plant memory I have - sucking the sweet honeyed nectar from each tiny purple petal as a young girl.
Ocotillo flower essence- Made by herbalist & ethnobotanist, Ash Ritter.

For Skin & Provisions
The Story—
For 10 years of offering our Bee Rosy Mask and suggesting to mix it with honey to activate, we now offer you this exquisite partnership, made with much love. Inspired by weekly trips to our local farmers market, we bring you a joyous collaboration of skin + wellbeing from our neighbors at Oso Honey Farm. Harvested from the Yaquina coastal lands, they follow the river South, holding 300-500 hives in up to 15 or so locations along the Yaquina River. This varietal marks the beginning of the Wild Blackberry nectar flow, capturing the transition from Spring to Summer.
We then take their beautiful honey and solar- infuse our fragrant, sun-dried organic heirloom tea roses from our family garden + wild hawthorn flowers harvested here in the Pacific Northwest. If you’re familiar with our Whole Body Rose Hydrosol, you’ll know the beauty these particular roses hold; We don’t need to do much to make this honey stand out. This is energetically heart-healing nectar, and a collaboration of exquisitely done simplicity at its finest.
Nectar Sources—
Wild Blackberry, (Rubus bifrons & Rubus ursinus).
Cascara buckthorn (Frangula purshiana).
Trefoil, (Lotus major).
*Petals have been strained out leaving you with a clear, ready to use honey.
Purpose—
For Skin : Use a couple tablespoons to activate our Bee Rosy Mask (my favorite kind of mask mixer!). You are also welcome to use as a mask, or our favorite kind of exfoliation— honey tapping! Keep reading for details.
For Provisions : Eat as desired! Consider in tea, drizzled on toast & to sweeten your favorite recipes — even a spoonful if you or your kiddo has a tickle in their throat!
* Please do not feed honey to infants under 1 year old.
More on Honey Tapping—
Honeytapping is a ritual of engaging with your fingers and honey directly on the skin as a catalyst for movement. With a repetitive tapping motion, you’re stimulating blood flow & circulation, encouraging lymph drainage, decreasing puffiness, offering gentle exfoliation & strengthening connective tissue. {I enjoy adding a small amount of our Bee Rosy Mask to this ritual for the added purifying effects of clay and herbs here.}
While honeytapping offers our skin, physical and emotional wellbeing, my favorite part is that we achieve these impactful results all by touching our own face! Yes, we can remember that the most profound shifts can come from our own engagement with our bodies. No fancy tools needed - no more being afraid to make contact with our own face. Touch and be touched - clean hands please.
How-to—
Begin with clean skin (dry skin works best here). Gently swipe a spoon’s worth across the forehead, chin, and cheeks & proceed by quick tapping motions of your middle + ring fingers, leaving ample space around the eye area. The more you tap, the more you notice it getting “dryer” as the honey takes on a tacky-like sound and a gentle pulling sensation. When complete, rinse & always follow with a hefty dose of Hydrosol (my seasonal favorites are Whole Body Rose or Purple Majesty Lavender). Continue with SunRoot Solar Serum or Red Movement Oil. I take part in this ritual anywhere fro 1-3 days a week, as I would exfoliate; Do what feels best for you!
