The Story—
This mask was created in our California garden, way back when we opened Wildcare in 2015, with a formula that’s spanned over a decade for good reason. In our quiet coastal town, we grew a vast array of flowers like roses, hibiscus & yarrow nestled amongst trailing passionflower vines and towering cacti. Bees led us flower to flower and we followed suit. Bee Rosy Mask is a meditation on the color pink; Blushing fruits and flowers support the skin in replenishing lost moisture, balancing skin that toggles too dry or too oily, and supports elasticity & collagen production. A sensorial blend of California grown Organic strawberries, freshly ground pink petals and local Bee pollen feed the skin essential vitamins to renew its healthy, rosy glow.
Purpose—
Harmonizes with mature skin and/or skin that toggles between dry and oily. Its main characteristics are for expressing vibrancy, collagen building, barrier repair, evening tone, strengthening tissue and bringing more balanced moisture back to the skin.
Highlights—
This mask is Essential Oil free for sensitive skin types.
Local Bee Pollen: Bee Pollen contains almost all nutrients required by the human body! Being enormously high in protein, bee pollen nourishes the skin by assisting in healing skin in transition, diminishing wrinkles, and helping to reduce acne.
Organic Rose Petals: Rose petals help to bind moisture to the skin, soothe over-exfoliated or sensitized skin and balances oil production while still keeping the skin soothed and comfortable. Polysaccharides help to support barrier function which helps to improve hydration and lessen irritation and inflammation.
Organic Fruits: Strawberry, Rose Hip and Hibiscus offer AHAs- gentle, yet effective fruit acids that support the skin to speed cellular turnover, brightens dull skin and supports elasticity and firmness— especially helpful for mature skin. Anthocyanins in particular supports collagen integrity and improves resilience, .
Best Use—
Spoon 1-2T into a small bowl and combine with your Wildcare Hydrosol of choice, honey or simply pure water. Honey is our favorite choice to prevent clay from being over-drying. Once your mask has reached its desired consistency, smooth on skin, relax for 15-20 minutes, keeping it moist with a hydrosol or a damp cloth, then gently rinse with warm water. **Leaving clay masks on to dry can occasional be supportive for certain skin expressions, but more commonly will lead to dehydrated and itchy skin. Keep your mask moist for purified, hydrated skin! Follow by generously misting a Hydrosol, massaging a few drops of SunRoot Solar Serum into skin, and lastly a final mist of Hydrosol to lock in moisture.
